I totally agree with you. children need to be introduced to a variety of food in an early age. My wee one just started eating solid and he loves his veggies so far, especially peas! I hope he will grown up liking all the veggies and different cuisine from all over the world like his parents.

Exactly. We are a little later with this exact same method as our oldest is 5 and a half now. But we found just involving her and her 3 year old sister in the cooking it totally changed their associations with food. They help with the bread making and all meal prep. I think it is very important to have some tactile contact with your food. It rasies questions and now we cook and learn about our food all at once. Now some of the favorites are squash, cabbage, beets and all sorts of "new" foods. Another big help was letting them serve themselves at the table. They are then able to take how much they want and it includes them in the meal instead of just having a plate thrust in front of them. Since we have started that they are much more open to trying things and eating better as well.

I'm hoping you continue writing with the blog!
